We also decided to make things interesting by putting them head to head in competition every week to see who comes out on top!

The first three weeks of the Geek versus Guru Lotto prediction head-to-head saw the Guru come on top in all three, but is it time for the Geek’s algorithms to finally start working?

Last Week’s Irish Lotto Results & Predictions Round-Up

The two predictionistas went with their usual methods for picking numbers in week four, with the Guru’s pop culture inspiration leading them to go for: 3 – 4 – 16 – 18 – 22 – 40.

And while the Lotto Geek was certainly getting rattled after a third consecutive defeat, they also continued on their strategy of picking Irish Lotto’s most overdue numbers, which meant that 4 – 5 – 6 – 16 – 19 – 31 were the Geek’s choices.

Both predictors were right on the money with number 4 in the first draw, but by a narrow winning margin of three correct predictions to two, this week’s winner was… the Lotto Geek – for the first time!
