How many balls do I have to bet on?

As this is betting on numbers and not buying a ticket (see ways to play for more info) you select the number of balls you want to bet on before the draw. You can chose to bet on 1,2,3,4 or 5 balls. 3 balls is a popular choice as this offers a balance between chance of winning and high returns.

I have bet on 3 balls and matched 2 balls - do I win?

When you bet on numbers you have to select the number of balls beforehand - if you bet on 3 balls you must match 3 balls to win, If you bet on 4 balls, you must match 4 balls to win, etc. If you only match 2 out of 3 you do not win.

If I bet on a number being drawn and it is drawn as the bonus ball - do I win?

When placing your bet you have to select ‘with bonus ball’. If you look at the odds table above the odds are different if you select ‘with’ or ‘without’ bonus ball - that’s because this affects the chance of you winning.
