Ladbrokes, like Betfred, Coral and William Hill come from a retail background, they’ve been offering Irish Lotto, 49’s Lotto for well over twenty years now. They’re part of GVC - a stock exchange listed giant of a company that includes other gambling brands such as Coral, Bwin, Party Poker and Foxy Bingo to name a few.
So, really you’d imagine Ladbrokes to be market leaders. Unfortunately not.
Ladbrokes are equal best odds on 3 balls on the Irish Lotto - which is great, as this is one of the most popular Irish Lotto bets. However, on all other balls they’re below par. It’s the same story with 49’s lotto - equal best odds on 1 ball but way below on 2 - 5 balls.
In Spring 2020 Ladbrokes completed a platform migration with Coral - what exactly does this mean? Well, it means Ladbrokes and Coral are essentially powered by the same technology. This is why they both look similar. The negative implications this has had on lotto bettors is firstly, lottery is much less prominent on the site and secondly, the range of lotto has reduced. As of June 2020 Ladbrokes is only offering Irish, Daily Millions and 49’s. Previously they offered a wider range including Spanish and New York.
Finally, Ladbrokes has never offered a welcome bonus to lotto customers (Sports, Casino, Poker - yes. But not for Lotto). Other bookmakers do offer welcome bonuses - see which here.
Although Ladbrokes don't feature the lotto results on their website, luckily for you, we have a page for the Ladbrokes Irish Lottery Results.

Our Opinion
Whilst this seems an obvious feature, currently Ladbrokes appear to be the only operator who only accept a stake in line with their maximum pay-out. This should be in place with the other operators. They also have a really good favourite numbers feature like Betfred

"Whilst Ladbrokes claim to offer Lotto Live chat services, on a recent test they replied: 'I understand your concern about our Lotto product. I do apologise for the inconvenience, but due to limited access on our end about Lotto queries, I'm unable to answer this concern. We do have the right department that is dealing with Games and Lottos queries. Our Opinion
Ladbrokes advise that the maximum payout to any one customer, or group/syndicate of customers acting together, is £250,000 GBP on any one national lottery draw and/or on any one day. However they appear to limit the max bet on 1 and 2 numbers to £1000 meaning the max pay-outs available are much lower in those scenarios.
