Sky Bet is a market leader in the UK for sports betting and casino. Through their website they have two options available for lottery bettors - firstly, betting on the Irish Lotto and 49’s Lotto, then the new product of Sky Lotto which is a free lotto that allows players to win £250,000 or boost their winnings to £1,000,000 by staking £0.50.
Irish & 49’s Lotto
Although Sky Bet does offer Irish Lotto and 49’s Lotto it is done so in a rather lacklustre way. With Sky Bet you can only bet on 1 or 2 balls and only bet without the bonus ball (betting on six balls, not seven). Most decent lotto betting bookmakers, such as Betfred or bet365, offer many different lotteries, the option of betting on 1 - 5 balls and the option of betting with or without the bonus ball.
Plus, Sky Bet doesn’t offer lotto betting features such as favourite numbers, exotic/multiple bets and lucky dip number selection. Again, many other bookmakers offer these features.
Sky Bet is a trusted brand with a great betting product, their website and app are really slick and easy to use. They have many great products such as their famous Super 6, Fantasy Football League and more recently Sky Lotto.

Our Opinion
Sky Bet offer betting on the least amount of lotteries of any UK bookmaker - only two (Irish & 49’s). Betfred, for example, offers betting on eleven different world lotteries.

Where odds are offered they are decent - Sky Bet are equal best odds on 1 & 2 balls for the Irish & 49’s. It’s disappointing that Sky Bet don’t offer odds on 3 - 5 balls.

Our Opinion
You can bet for up to one week in advance with Sky Bet. Not bad, but not the best. With Betfred you can bet for the next 56 draws on the 49’s lotto.

All Sky products are excellent and very easy to use. If you have already used similar Sky products (Super 6, Fantasy Football, Sky Lotto) then you will find Sky Bet very easy.
