The National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children is the UK’s leading children’s charity, preventing abuse and helping those affected to recover. In 2019 they helped make over 1.4 million children safer. They work directly with children, families and professionals to help children who have been abused, protect children at risk and find ways to prevent child abuse from ever happening. The NSPCC offers training and consultancy to organisations which have contact with children ranging from schools to sporting bodies. They give support to thousands of adults and young people in need through the NSPCC helpline and Childline. In addition to the telephone helplines the NPSCC also provides an online counselling service for children and young people.
