After working in the gambling industry for over a decade, Oliver spotted an opportunity to setup a resource for lottery bettors. CompareTheLotto.com was founded in 2014, with Bet49s.com and Bet49s.co.za following shortly after. The aim is to find the best odds, offers and information for lottery bettors.

bet365, also known as “The World’s Largest Bookmaker”, has always been a favourite amongst lotto bettors - they have a great range of lotteries to bet on and are often the best odds. Not to mention their best-in-class app and desktop experience.
In May, bet365 became the only bookmaker to live stream all 49's draws. Now, bet365 have teamed up with SIS (the 49’s developers) again to launch their very own lottery betting product - Lotto365.
We take a detailed look at the draw below:
Interestingly, with Lotto365, you can win even if you don’t match all balls. For example, other lotto betting products (such as Irish & 49’s) you must select and match all balls - if you select 5 balls you much match all 5 balls to win. With Lotto365, you can select 5 balls and still win even if you only match 3 balls. The full payout tables are below:

Lotto365 is drawn every five minutes every single day. One of the many advantages of designing a lotto betting product from scratch is the opportunity to tailor it to suit the needs of your customers - having the draws more frequently makes the product much more accessible. Take the ever-popular Irish Lotto for example - this is only drawn twice per week, you often have to wait hours or even days after you place your bet to find out the results of the draw.
There certainly seems to be a trend for more frequent lotto draws in lottery betting products - the 49’s is drawn twice per day, then the Nifty Fifty (a tailor designed lotto product by Betfred) came along and introduced five draws every day and now Lotto365 has taken it a step further to be every five minutes.
Yes. The draws are live streamed from the SIS studios in Milton Keynes. You can watch the live stream on either the bet365 website or app. You just need to make sure you have a bet365 account that has money in the balance or has placed a bet in the past 24 hours.
Unfortunately, no. The 49’s presenters are particularly popular with bettors and have gathered their own followings so it’s a bit of a shame bet365 haven’t done the same. Although, perhaps given the high draw frequency it would be impractical to use presenters.
Similar to other lotto betting products, you can also place special bets on Lotto365, such as:
If you’re the type of bettor who enjoys following draw stats (hot & cold balls, ball frequency, odd/even) you can find all of these on the bet365 Lotto365 section.
