Betfred launch massive Nifty Fifty Numbers Betting TV Campaign

Betfred and their owner, Fred Done, are no shrinking violets when it comes to advertising their latest and greatest services, but they have upped the stakes with their onscreen showcasing for their new numbers betting game Nifty Fifty.

The Betfred TV advert employs singing bingo balls with fantastical hairdos, backing clappers, swinging dancers, and a 50's inspired rock and roll tune fit for a foot tap. The action takes place in an old school dance hall, with a smoky haze, and it also subtitles the lyrics so you can sing along!

It may not need to stand out from the crowd, given the lack of airtime awarded to numbers betting games – but it is an eye-catching production. Not since the days of Chris Tarrant's campaign with Lottoland has a lotto advert quite caught the attention like this! Instead of relying on the support of a famous ambassador, the Betfred creative team backed their vision to produce a fun, accessible, and catchy 30-second segment. They will be hoping it has a significant cut-through to their target audience.

There has been a big advertising push on the Nifty Fifty service lately, with the new advert arriving off the back of securing the naming rights of some massive horse races, including at Ascot.

Exclusive to Betfred, Nifty Fifty takes place three times a day, with draws at 11:30, 14:30, and 18:30. There are 50 numbers in total – hence the name – and you can watch all the draws as they happen, online or in-shop!

There are two types of games – numbers, and groups. With the former, you must choose between one and five numbers, and if all of your selected digits roll out, you get the win. The more numbers you pick, the higher your potential payout. Latterly, players can choose a group of numbers – be it odd or even, for example. The bet will be a winner if the first ball drawn matches your choices.

There are also different types of bets available, including Lucky 15s and Patents. To find them, you need to click the drop-down menu in the bet section.

Players have the option to choose between two options – the six-baller (without bonus ball) or the seven-baller (with the bonus ball). The seven-baller uses a bonus ball, which increases your chances of winning, but also means the payouts are smaller.
